Niccole originally wanted to be a giraffe when she grew up, but her parents finally convinced her that her neck would never grow long enough. Instead, she decided to study journalism and international relations at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.

She then packed up all she learned and left her parent's nest near Chicago to head to Georgia for her first reporting job. Southern hospitality kept her there for three years.

Wanderlust struck and she went to Japan to teach English. She was forced to learn Japanese or continue to buy mysterious items at the grocery store. School in Japan is year around, so during the long breaks she traveled around Asia and Europe. She also discovered she had a special talent for attracting strange and mysterious diseases on every trip and now has vast knowledge of most countries' medical systems.

Niccole came back to the States mostly in one piece and with just a few parasites. She returned to broadcasting by working for stations in Indiana as an education reporter and evening anchor.

She then did a stint in public relations for various non-profit educational groups before heading back to Northwestern for graduate school. Her studies focused on investigative reporting.

Her passion for uncovering untold stories then took her to the Lone Star state where she now works as an investigative reporter and anchor.

When not buried in documents, she enjoys studying languages, traveling, weight lifting, cooking, eating out when the meals get burned, and hockey.
